For this week's lecture, we got a lecture on situation analysis, which is a marketing analysis that is made up of different factors to a particular event. Situation analysis (SWOT) will affect your brand internal and external image to the public.
S - strength
W= weakness
O - opportunity
T - threats
A SWOT example given my Mr Harris is a situation analysis on Starbucks in class. It gives us a better understanding on how a brand image can affect the brand itself. After the lecture, we were briefed on our next project which is to propose an event of our choice with SWOT. In that project, not only we have to propose a full event, we also have to do a situation analysis (SWOT) on the event itself.

Proposed Event - Music Lah!
I decided to propose a similar music event like Good Vibes Festival but instead of starting it big and inviting international acts, I decided to focus on the local creative industry and also starting it on a small scale.
Music Lah! is basically a curated music platform for creators/artists to share their inspiration and music to everyone for a night. There will be different music genre performing so that everyone can share their ideas together. Our mission is to expand the local music/creative industry and to be recognized by everyone. The local music industry is growing and it's time to be released to the world.

Feedback
A pretty unique event/gig that gears towards the local community since not many people pay enough attention yet to the local creative community. The visual elements that run through the gig is also visually pleasing and suits the targeted audiences which is the current generation. However, event visual reference should be included in the slides as well so that everyone is able to visualized the gig better.
