24/4/2019 (Week 4) 

For Project 3, we are required to come out with a creative brief that explains what our brand is. We need to to able build and articulate the brand through a creative brief that includes the brand concept, brand name, brand story, mood board and also the ideas behind our own brand. 

We need to document our creative brief and also the mood boards for our brand in Google Slides. To start off my brand positioning, I thought about what my brand is all about and also the story behind it.

Why is The Brand Called TRJ?



2/5/2019 (Week 5)

After receiving some feedback from Ms Li Lian regarding to my brand positioning, I then proceed to include mood boards into my brand positioning as well. In my mood board, I included my brand's visual reference, color schemes, typography choices, my product shoots, stationery, magazine layouts and etc. The reason for adding these is to showcase how my brand will be applied at visually.

8/6/2019 (Week 6) 

It's presentation day!

We are required to present our brand positioning slides for 15 minutes as part of the assignment. As mentioned in the previous weeks, I compiled the slides that I have done.

Feedback: The overall slides are good and informative. Every information is there but the visual references lack consistency. For example: I need to have a clearer design on how I want to apply my design into my name cards and also the magazines. I need to have a design that can be used throughout the applications

For brand positioning, Ms Li Lian told me to look into stationary and also to focus back on what I told her for my brand's vision and also mission.

Reflection

Overall this project has made me realize and learned a lot about how starting a brand feels like. I did my research about the visual reference and it was the essential to showcase what your brand is build around of. Initially, I thought to start off a brand is early but then after going through all the research and to think of the vision and the mission of the brand were not an easy task at all. I'm glad that this assignment has taught me what starting a brand looks like.
